The best way to spend a rainy day is sitting on the couch in pajamas with a bunch of snack foods watching movies.
OR..
Running around in the rain, jumping in puddles, and just getting soaking wet.

Still, I'm partial to sitting down with the curtains open (as well as the windows for volume) and watch/listen to thunder and lightning bursts.
