What books did you love as a child?

Wow, seems like ages ago!! Well, not really. My favorite books growing up were Nancy Drew and Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. I almost have every hardcover Nancy Drew book that was published. I always wanted to be like Nancy when I was a kid because she was smart, cunning, and was always involved in some sort of adventure.

The Message in the Hollow Oak (Nancy Drew Mystery Stories, No 12)

I was always in love with Frank Hardy as well. I loved the chemistry between him and Nancy, and that is why I always read the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys Super Mysteries. Both of the books pictured above I am pretty sure I own them, and have read them numerous times. Maybe I will dig these books out of storage and read it for old-times sake..

Other books that I read include The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkin (my favorite), Sweet Valley High by Francine Pascal, and Goosebumps by R.L. Stein just to name a few.
