What celebrity do you most often get told you resemble?
Submitted by Leets.
I don't normally get told I look like a celebrity, but the odd time when I do I get either of these two:
Funny, I don't see the resemblance to either of these lovely ladies. Probably because I am overly critical of myself (or there are plenty of celebrities I would RATHER look like). Don't get me wrong, they are hot, but they just aren't me. They embody a sexiness that I could NEVER attain!
Anyways, this is way deeper then I really needed to go for this stupid little post.
What are your top 10 most-played songs currently?

When was the last time you did something dangerous?
Submitted by Ross.
Hmm.. Well, I did something REALLY dangerous this morning!! I wore kackis instead of my usual jeans! I know, right? Crazy. Oh, and I was also PURPOSELY late for work today. Livin on the edge.
In all seriousness, I am not usually one to participate in anything that could be considered dangerous. I have always been the cautious type in everything I do - hence why I have never broken anything. Then again, driving in rush hour traffic is always dangerous. hehe.
Probably the most dangerous thing I have ever done is jumped off a 20 foot rock into a stream (a 7 - 10 foot deep stream). Yup - call me danger girl!
What's the infamous story people tell about you?
Submitted by Cherney.
Well, thats easy. The infamous story people tell about me is as follows:
One night I was over at Gotkube's place with Ms Ange and Badfrek. This was a normal occurance, and some of Badfrek's friends showed up. We decided to go out and take a 'walk' (aka go to the park and smoke weed). There was about 6 of us there, and once we finished smoking we just stood around chatting for a bit. I was feeling quite stoned and was having trouble standing. The next thing I knew I was falling over. I ended up face deep in shale. Everyone was just standing around staring at me, and only after a few minutes had passed did anyone kneel down to ask if I was ok. I was fine, so we got up and went home - it was a great rush may I add.
The way they tell it is: I started to fall and I grabbed onto Gotkube's shirt tearing it. I passed out completely, probably as a result of hitting my head on a wood plank. Then I lay there with my eyes wide open for a couple of minutes. They thought I was dead, yet none of them had the guts to check.
So that was my bright shining moment. I love it when people spread it around. For a while, when most of Badfrek's friends didn't know me by name, they knew me by reputation - the girl who passed out in the park.
If you could have three wishes from a genie, what would they be?

1) $100,000,000,000.00 - Not sure exactly why I want this amount of money, but it seems like a good number. I could retire and live off the interest! Plus I would have more then enough to share with my family, friends, and maybe some sort of charity. I wonder if a hospital would name a wing after me if I contributed some money.... hmmm.
2) Never to be in another car accident. They suck, enough said.
3) (My cursor has been blinking here for about 5 mins now, and I can't think of anything else that I could possibly want to wish for. Maybe I would just keep this last wish for a rainy day.) Hmmm... Maybe I would wish for the perfect body. What I mean is, if I worked out and ate healthy I would probably be a decent size with tonned muscles, great abs etc. Thats what I want, but with no maintenance. I would be tonned and skinny for the rest of my life without getting off the couch or watching what I eat. Ya, that works.
What's your musical horoscope? (Put your player on shuffle and write down the first 10 songs that come up.)
Inspired by Stephanie.
1) Face Down - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
2) Who I Am Hates Who I've Been - Relient K
3) Best of You - Foo Fighters
4) B.Y.O.B - System of Down
5) When Your Heart Stops Beating - +44
6) Move Along - All-American Rejects
7) Cold - Crossfade
8) Lithium - Evanescence
9) Invisible - Ashley Simpson
10) Flawed Design - Stabilo
What's one of your favorite quotes?
Submitted by Georgie-boy.
Well, for favorite quotes I have to go with this one:
Passion, it lies in all of us. Sleeping, waiting, and though unwanted, unbidden, it will stir. Open its jaws, and howl.
Passion is the source of our finest moments; the joy of love, the clarity of hatred, and the ecstacy of grief. It hurts sometimes more then we can bare. If we could live without passion maybe we would know some kind of peace, but we would be hollow. Empty rooms, shuttered and dank. If we could live without passion, we'd be truely dead.
~ Angel - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
It has been my favorite quote since Junior High School. I don't think I ever fully understood it, because I had never experienced the feeling before. It has been almost 10 years since I first heard this quote, and I do understand. Passion is what drives us, in love and in life. Passion is who we truely are.
What's a leap of faith to you? Have you ever taken one?
A leap of faith, in its most commonly used meaning, is the act of believing in something without, or in spite of, available empirical evidence. It is an act commonly associated with religious belief as many religions consider faith to be an essential element of piety. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leap_of_faith)
I used to think a leap of faith was something huge. It always had to be a major event in your life where you hit a crossroads and had to make a decision of which path to choose. Lately, I have come to the conclusion that we take leaps of faith more often then that. Every choice we make is a leap of faith because we never know where we will end up. I think we call it a leap of faith because we are scared to think of the possibilities. No one ever wants to be disappointed in life, so we make easy choices as much as we can not knowing that all the little choices inevitably lead to a much larger choice - a leap of faith. Sometimes we are disappointed when our choice doesn't lead us where we want to go. We cry or get angry about 'what could have been', but sometimes its leads you somewhere you never thought possible. So when its all broken down in its itty-bitty parts, a leap of faith is life. Life is the choices you make, whether they work out or not.
I don't believe a leap of faith requires an association to religion. To take a leap of faith, one has to believe in something so strongly that they are willing to risk everything for it. Religion is just - for lack of better words - a justification. If a choice can be justified in one way or another by religion, then those who believe in religion are more inclined to take a leap. Even if a leap of faith is justified by your religious beliefs, it is because your life is guided by your religion. So in the end, when you take a leap of faith it is because in your heart you know it is the right thing to do. You know that regardless of the outcome this is the path you want to choose, you need to choose.
The biggest leap of faith I took was telling Rob how I felt about him. I knew in my heart exactly what he would say, but it was something I had to do for myself. When I did tell him, I was disappointed (as I knew I would be) but in the end things eventually went my way. I never thought after hearing his response that 9 months later I would be living with him. I never thought (even if we got together) that things would be the way they are. The most interesting part about the whole thing, is that this wasn't the only choice that lead me to where I am now. I guess that is what leads me to believe that life is a series of leaps of faith. It's like my whole life has lead me to this exact place. I am not saying it is destiny, fate or anything like that. This is just where all of my choices have lead me, where I am supposed to be.
We know you never slack off at work, but if you did, what would you do?
Of course I never slack off at work! My god! I am paid to work, so thats what I do all day! I post blogs, shop, talk on MSN, and play Solitare. Case in point, today I have done NOTHING all day. Well thats not true, I worked this morning and then I delegated the rest of my work to one of my 'lackies' so that I could sit here and do the work I have listed above. Whatever, its Friday and I worked overtime all week! I deserve to have a day where I just sit here and occupy the space of my office. So what if I don't accomplish anything work-related? Although, I have been super productive today! I planned dinner, shopped for dinner, bought some DVDs, bought pop, checked out the upcoming titles on DVD, ordered Badfrek a DVD off the Future Shop website, etc. So even when I am not working, I am still working!
