Show us a great wedding photo.
This is probably the best picture from the entire wedding, not to mention it is one of the ONLY pictures of the four of us together. September Long has officially become my favorite long weekend ever, because it is the anniversary of my two best friends Gotkube and Ms Ange, and it is also Rob and mine! Both are on seperate days,
I was going to save these two shots for another post, but I couldn't resist.
These are shots taken at the hotel where Ms. Ange and Rob are checking in. All dolled up for the wedding, standing at the Kids Check-In. I mean Ms. Ange IS definitely short enough to be mistaken as a kid, but Rob??

Video: Show us a clip from your current favorite TV show.
What can I say? Its a great show! The plotline has kept me and Rob tuned in every Monday night. We will not make ANY plans on Mondays so that we do not miss Heros - even now that we have a PVR, we watch it and record it so we can watch it later!
Audio: Share a song that reminds you of a current or past relationship.
Since I am in a relationship right now, I felt compelled to post an answer to this. Then came the difficult task of attempting to find a song that reminds me of our relationship. I drew a blank. I could go down the path of sappy love songs like Savage Garden's 'I Knew I Loved You', but that just isn't us. I don't see us as a sappy love song couple, we are just ordinary. In light of this revelation, I have decided to post another song from a long time ago.
Garth Brooks - Friends in Low Places
Blame it all on my roots
I showed up in boots
And ruined your black tie affair
The last one to know
The last one to show
I was the last one
You thought you'd see there
And I saw the surprise
And the fear in his eyes
When I took his glass of champagne
And I toasted you
Said, honey, we may be through
But you'll never hear me complain
'Cause I've got friends in low places
Where the whiskey drowns
And the beer chases my blues away
And I'll be okay
I'm not big on social graces
Think I'll slip on down to the oasis
Oh, I've got friends in low places
Well, I guess I was wrong
I just don't belong
But then, I've been there before
Everything's all right
I'll just say goodnight
And I'll show myself to the door
Hey, I didn't mean
To cause a big scene
Just give me an hour and then
Well, I'll be as high
As that ivory tower
That you're livin' in
'Cause I've got friends in low places
Where the whiskey drowns
And the beer chases my blues away
And I'll be okay
I'm not big on social graces
Think I'll slip on down to the oasis
Oh, I've got friends in low places
I guess I was wrong
I just don't belong
But then, I've been there before
And everything is alright
I'll just say goodnight
And I'll show myself to the door
I didn't mean to cause a big scene
Just wait 'til I finish this glass
Then sweet little lady
I'll head back to the bar
And you can kiss my ass
Everytime I hear this song, I remember this guy I used to know. We had a 'fling' in Junior High, and it was one of the greatest summers of my life. We spent it playing Mario Kart 64, riding our bikes in Fish Creek, and swimming at Sicome and 'the rock'. He was a big country music fan, and would always play my mom's cds on her stereo. The day he played this song stands out in my mind, I don't really know why. I came upstairs just at the beginning of this song, and he began to serenade me. I only stuck around for the first verse, but I haven't been able to listen to this song without thinking of him since that day.
Audio: Share a song that fits the moment you're living right now.

I know, I have been on this weird Grey's Anatomy kick lately. I just love this song. I think sometimes its nice to just forget. Forget about your life, your job, your problems, your money, and just be. Be with that one person that makes everything feel like it is going to be ok, if only for that moment. I don't think that people experience enough of those moments, and that is what makes us feel like we are drowning. So take a moment, just lay there and forget the world.
Audio: What song do you listen to when you are sad?

I don't have the song on this computer, so maybe I will post it later.
"It Ends Tonight"
Your subtleties
They strangle me
I can't explain myself at all.
And all the wants
And all the needs
All I don't want to need at all.
The walls start breathing
My mind's unweaving
Maybe it's best you leave me alone.
A weight is lifted
On this evening
I give the final blow.
When darkness turns to light,
It ends tonight
It ends tonight.
A falling star
Least I fall alone.
I can't explain what you can't explain.
You're finding things that you didn't know
I look at you with such disdain
The walls start breathing
My mind's unweaving
Maybe it's best you leave me alone.
A weight is lifted
On this evening
I give the final blow.
When darkness turns to light
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.
Just a little insight won't make this right
It's too late to fight
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.
Now I'm on my own side
It's better than being on your side
It's my fault when you're blind
It's better that I see it through your eyes
All these thoughts locked inside
Now you're the first to know
When darkness turns to light
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.
Just a little insight won't make this right
It's too late to fight
It ends tonight,
It ends
When darkness turns to light
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.
Just a little insight won't make this right
It's too late to fight
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.
Tonight
Insight
When darkness turns to light,
It ends tonight.

Ok, so it isn't exactly "big screen" but I love it anyway!
What's the first image that comes up when you Google your name?
Well, I agree with GOTKUBE in the fact that this is a vague question. When I did a Google Image search for my full name, I got no results. When I searched just my first name, I got a variety of images, the first of which was just my name on a black background. The second was a video. The third was an image of Kristin Kreuk from Smallville. As that was just a plain-jane average looking picture of her, I picked this one instead.
So ya, I picked the hot picture. Why? Well, its hot!
Show us your desktop.

I don't really have anything to post about, so I figured I would show off my desktop. I like to pick something colorful and interesting to look at. Sometimes its hot men, sometimes it is just something different that I find, and sometimes it is just something. This one just caught my eye and is my current desktop:

This is my little baby O'Malley! He is not so much a baby, and he definitely isn't little. He is 10 years old, and weighs about 15lbs though he isn't fat. He is a pure-bread Siamese cat and has the attitude to prove it. He hates being touched by anyone who doesn't live at my house, but he is the first one at the door when company comes over. He may act like he is tough shit around other people, when he is with me he is the biggest suck ever! He will lay on my chest and kneed my hair with his paws. Although it is really annoying sometimes, its really cute. The picture doesn't show it well, but he has the most amazing Royal Blue eyes in the world.
I am very sad because when I move out, I can't take him with me. I don't think he will play well with Sage-cat (Badfrek's cat).
Show us what's stashed in your desk drawer.
Submitted by Vee.
So this is my main desk drawer where I keep all of my stuff. In the top right corner I have an assortment of Crystal Light flavors. Next to that I have 3 books (John Grisham - Last Juror, Harry Potter - Goblet of Fire, and Lauren Weisberger - The Devil Wears Prada), a box of Kelloggs Extra Cereal, and a box of 48 plastic spoons. There is also 3 bags of Nut Man items (Butter Toffee Peanuts, Halloween Ju-Jubes, and Halloween Red Hot Devel Bonbons), a mini bin from Victory Packaging (that formally held sugar packs, but has since been emptied), tampons (a girls necessity), my lunch, my purse, lotion, and a microwavable Chef Boyardee.
I understand to the casual observer that this may seem somewhat excessive. In case you are wondering; no, I could not live off the items in my drawer! My desk is a lot worse then the drawer. For fun, I will also include a picture of that so you all can see where I work.
So this is my desk. Note the insane amounts of clutter that is going on. Book of Sudoku puzzles, tape, white out, a stapler, a Crispy Crunch mini-bar, a nail file, coffee mug, a bottle of Propel water, Tim Hortons travel mug, super-size water bottle, my computer (with a bunny, ladybug, man, and Happy Meal toy sitting on top), my pink frog (from Ms. Ange), my tiger, my monkey, an alarm clock, and my various phones. On the walls are my calendar (complete with a list of the release dates for movies, etc.), pictures of my friends, a cute smoking fuzzy guy picture, and some work related items.
